Yukon Makes Beauty Bag shines a light on local makers in the beauty and style space who are playing a key role in transforming the landscape of this northern territory. Featuring thoughtfully made products, this program illuminates the inspiration behind each artisan, including local ingredients and materials, and showcases how their brands are having a positive impact on their community.
Each bag contains four unique beauty products by three Yukon Makers — Anto Yukon, The Yukon Soaps Company and Aurum Skincare — all zipped up in a limited edition organic cotton canvas beauty bag hand-printed by Toronto apparel company OkayOk.
The Yukon Makes Beauty Bag is a collaboration between Makejoy and The T-Zone, a digital platform that highlights inclusivity and diversity in beauty.

Selected products from the Yukon Makes beauty bag were curated by Emily MacCulloch and Ingrie Williams, co-founders of The T-Zone. Having previously partnered with Makejoy, as hosts of a maker panel talk at Toronto’s One of a Kind Show, MacCulloch and Williams consider this beauty bag collaboration another exciting opportunity to showcase the best that Canada’s beauty biz has to offer, from unique formulas to behind-the-scenes inspiration.
Operating collectively out of Ontario and Nova Scotia, Williams and MacCullogh can’t wait to share the stories of these homegrown makers with an audience coast to coast.
